Meeting learner needs is central to the work of QQI . Acquisition of a QQI qualification can lead directly to employment or onto further education.
The National Framework of Qualifications (NFQ)
All QQi awards are part of the National Framework of Qualifications and are place at levels 1-6. This means they are quality assured and recognised at home and abroad.
What is the advantage of holding a qualification that is on the NFQ?
- It allows you to explain to others the qualifications you hold, or are studying for.
- It assists you in making informed decisions about the access, transfer and progression opportunities available to you.
- It enables you to relate awards gained in Ireland with those abroad. This becomes very important when you are considering further learning or when you are applying for a job at home or abroad.
